In today's fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. From work deadlines to family responsibilities, it's no wonder that many people find themselves feeling drained and overwhelmed. However, one powerful way to combat fatigue and enhance overall well-being is through the practice of creative expression.
All creativity comes out of inner spaciousness
Creative expression, whether it be through painting, writing, dancing, or any other form of art, has been shown to have numerous benefits for emotional well-being. When we engage in the act of creating something new, we are able to tap into our inner thoughts and feelings in a way that can be both cathartic and healing. This process of self-expression can help us to better understand ourselves and our emotions, leading to a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Whether it's spending an afternoon painting in a studio or writing in a journal, engaging in creative pursuits can help us to relax and unwind, promoting feelings of calm and relaxation.

Joy is the soul of my art and 'discovering the Sacred in the Ordinary' is the bedrock of my creations. I am a voracious reader and an enthusiastic traveller. These hobbies, besides enriching my experience of life, are sources of rejuvenating creative processes used by me to bring forth unique and fabulous artistic creations.

Art can also be a powerful tool for promoting mindfulness. When we are fully engaged in the creative process, we are able to focus our attention on the present moment, letting go of worries about the past or future. This practice of being fully present can help us to reduce anxiety and increase feelings of peace and contentment.

Artistic activities can serve as a form of meditation, allowing us to enter a state of flow where we are fully immersed in the creative process and free from distractions.

Art creations of mine vary from fascinating paintings on huge canvases, murals, enchanting book covers for fantasy novels, ambience-enhancing art or infographic video sequences.

Practicing art creation, helps to activate the relaxation response in our bodies, leading to decreased heart rate, lower blood pressure, and reduced levels of stress hormones.

Incorporating creative expression into our lives can have a profound impact on our overall well-being. Whether it's through painting, writing, or any other form of art, engaging in creative activities can help to boost energy, reduce stress, and promote emotional healing.

Viewing good artwork engages you in the present moment Incorporating art and mindfulness practices into your daily routine can be as simple as setting aside a few minutes each day to engage in a creative activity. Whether it's doodling in a sketchbook, practicing mindful breathing while coloring, or taking a walk in nature to inspire your next artistic endeavor, finding ways to incorporate creativity into your life can have a profound impact on your overall well-being.

Art improves home energy

Research shows that having pleasant art around your home and workplace can reduce cortisol, the "stress hormone". A beautiful view of such art releases endorphins, a feel-good chemical that prevents stress and reduces pain.

A study by University of Westminster found that participant's stress levels reduced after a lunch time visit to an art gallery.  Participants self reported stress levels before entering the gallery and then spent 35 minutes exploring the space in anyway they wanted. Upon exiting, they expressed being less stressed. They also had lower concentrations of cortisol.

By making time for self-care and prioritizing creative pursuits, we can cultivate a sense of balance and harmony in our lives, leading to greater happiness and fulfillment. The goal being the process of self-discovery and expression.
